What are Awe Enhancements?
Awe Enhancements are a group of enhancements for your weapon in AQW. They are a lot stronger than if you just use regular enhancements, and provide bonus effects along with the base stats. For the base stats you can also select which type of base stats you wish to pair with the enhancement, and these are, like the default ones, Healer, Fighter, Wizard, Lucky, Hybrid, Thief.
For most classes your go to choice should be Lucky, or in some cases Wizard or Healer, why that is will be covered in another guide, but for now that is what you need to know in terms of which option to pick from in regards to stats.
Different types
There are 5 different types of enhancements, all activating on auto attack with no cooldown, but each providing a different effect. Here are the enhancements and which type of classes you would want to use it for:
Awe Blast
30% chance to activate on auto attack.
Deals 100% Hybrid Damage.
Applies Awe Blast to the target for 10 seconds, which decreases both their
Crit Chance and
Damage Resistance by 15%.
Use Awe Blast for classes that have 2 seconds or less cooldown for their auto attacks, and are not very depenedent on any specific enhancement for their class to work.
Recommended classes: Lord of Order, Guardian, Chrono ShadowSlayer/Hunter
Health Vamp
50% chance to activate on auto attack.
Deals 80% True Hybrid Damage.
Heals you for 125% of the base damage dealt.
Use Health Vamp in situations where healing would kill you, like in Ultra Dage, or in cases where your class does not have any healing spells and you need survivability.
Recommended classes: Non-dauntless users like Chrono ShadowSlayer/Hunter, and before obtaining Dauntless.
Mana Vamp
80% chance to activate on auto attack.
Deals 50% True Hybrid Damage.
Recovers 10 mana.
Use Mana Vamp for classes that consume a lot of mana per skill with short cooldowns. Example for this may be in situations where healing is important, but your heal costs 40 mana and has 5 seconds cooldown (PCM skill 3).
Recommended classes: Paladin Chronomancer, Lord of Order.
Spiral Carve
15% chance to activate on auto attack.
Deals 200% True Hybrid Damage.
Applies Spiral Carve to yourself, increasing your
Crit Chance by 25% for 10 seconds.
Use Spiral Carve to get the most DPS out in most cases. Works with pretty much any damage class.
Recommended classes: Chrono ShadowSlayer/Hunter, Verus DoomKnight.
Powerword Die
0.3% chance to activate on auto attack.
Deals 999,999 True Damage.
Pretty much meme enhancement, do not actually use this, it’s a worse version of the Powerword Die cape which you get through unlocking the black box (costs lots of AC, or very lucky, through treasure chests).
Recommended classes: None, but if you do then use it with a Chrono to get the most effect out of it.
